Absolutely nothing. In fact, it would have been smart for Hitler to say, "Well, that will keep the Americans busy while we finish off the Britsh and the Soviets.<br /><br />And a Pacific war would have ended lend-lease."We need that material for our own war now." This would have benefitted Hitler.<br /><br />I bet the author of that article actually knew the real answer to that question. That is why he put it in the frm of a question.
