From what I've heard, there is almost nothing that is as effective as throwing out evidence that could have clinched a case to get the police (and prosecution) to straighten up. So while it can make a prosecuter's case more difficult, or even let a guilty man go free, it has traditionally been seen as a regretable but necessary cost of keeping overly-aggressive police action under control.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
